little background on who they are and give you their thoughts on their upcoming
fight at Premier MMA

Q- How long have you been training?
A-I’ve been training a little over a year.
Q-BJJ/TKD/Wrestling experience/Belt Level?
A-Wrestled in high school and a little bit for the UC club team
Q-When did you make your MMA debut?
A-November 17th,2018 at Premier MMA Championship
Q- What made you start competing in MMA?
A-I missed the competition I had in high school through all my sports, especially wrestling. I got really into the UFC through listening to Joe Rogan’s podcast. My girlfriend’s mom encouraged me to try it out and helped me get started at Reed Academy.
Q- How do you feel like you match up with your opponent on August 17th?
A-I feel like I match up well with him. We both like to wrestle so it will be fun to see who gets the better of the ground game.
Q- How do you predict the fight will end? and in what round?
A-No prediction
Q- Why should fans come out to see you compete?
A-Fans should see me because my game will be interesting to watch. I’ll bring a mix of boxing and wrestling and keep the pace high. On top of that, I’m a good public speaker and I can earn a lot of fans on the mic.
Q- If there was one thing you can say to your opponent about your fight on Aug. 17th, what would that be?
A-Let’s put on a show
Q- What has been the most memorable moment of your MMA career?
A-Winning my first fight
Q- What is your favorite MMA moment as a fan?
A-Derrick Lewis knocking out Alexander Volkov at UFC 229 in the last 15 seconds.
Q- Who is your all-time favorite MMA fighter? and why?
A-Frankie Edgar, I love his toughness and his willingness to stand up for us short guys by fighting and winning in heavier weight classes
Q- When you’re not at the gym training what is your favorite hobby to keep yourself busy?
A-Studying for school and watching sports: Football, basketball and fighting are my favorites.
Q- Outside of MMA what type of job do you have?
A-I am a student at University of Cincinnati studying Biochemistry. I also work a part time job at the UC Rec Center.
Q- Outside of MMA what is your favorite hobby?
A-Sports
Q- When you’re in the gym training, or just working out what artist or music gets you in a zone?
A-I love country music, but when I’m training, I’ll listen to anything, particularly rap or metal.
Q-Who is your favorite music group or artist?
A-Right now, it is Chris Stapelton
Q-What is your favorite movie?
A-All three of the Lord of the Rings trilogies
Q-Who is your favorite actor/actress?
A-John Travolta

A-Blue
Q-What is your ”go to” meal after weigh-In’s?
A-Last fight I made pan seared salmon with rice and asparagus when I got home from weigh ins. Immediately after I had a pb&j, a banana, and some pineapple. I will probably do the same

A-“I lay me down to bleed a while but I will rise again to fight”
