Premier MMA Championship is set to take place on Saturday April 8th with a night full of live MMA featuring some of the best up and coming talent as well as established veterans in the entire Midwest region.
Some of the athletes that will be featured on the April 8th fight card took a few moments out of their training to give you,the fans a little background on who they are and give you their thoughts on their upcoming fight at Premier MMA Championship.
Q- Tell the fans your name?-
A-Keith Froelich
Q- Your Home Town?-
A-Cincinnati, OH
Q- What gym do you train with? –
A- Sacan Family Martial Arts, Gracie Cincinnati
Q- What made you start competing in MMA? –
A- I remember being in a hotel room when I was younger watching UFC on TV with my dad, and told him “I would like to do that!” Not long after, I started training and competing Muay Thai at Sacan.
Q- How do you feel like you match up with your opponent on April 8th? –
A-I’ve never seen him. Irregardless, I believe the outcome will be the same.
Q- How do you predict the fight will end? and in what round? –
A-I’m simply confident in victory.
Q- Why should fans come out to see you compete? –
A- I’d like to think they’ll find that out when they see me fight.
Q- If there was one thing you can say to your opponent about your fight on April 8th, what would that be? –
A- Irregardless of the outcome, I genuinely hope he succeeds in his dream, and I am thankful for the opportunity to compete with this person. There is a growth and respect that comes in the ring. You become like brothers doing battle. So Let’s have some fun!
Q- What has been the most memorable moment of your MMA career? –
A-The most memorable moment in my MMA career was getting the chance to pray for my opponent in the cage after our fight.
Q- What is your favorite MMA moment as a fan? –
A- Watching Connor McGregor with my family, after he defeated Jose Aldo. His quote showed me he understood combat on another level. “Timing beats speed, and precision beats power” – His words really stuck with me.
Q- When your not at the gym training what is your favorite hobby to keep yourself busy? –
A- I love art, skateboarding, rock climbing, reading, board games, and spending time with my wife. We really strive to live life to the fullest.
Q- Outside of MMA what type of job do you have? –
A-I am a warranty manager for the custom home builder, Justin Doyle Homes. Come check us out at Homearama!
Q- When your in the gym training, or just working out what artist or music gets you in a zone? –
A-I honestly prefer to run and train without music, so I can depend on my own will power for motivation. But there is one Eminem song that gets me amped – “Lose Yourself”
