Premier MMA Championship returns to the iconic Radisson Cincinnati riverfront in Covington Kentucky on Saturday August 19th featuring a highly anticipated heavyweight professional showdown between the state of Kentucky’s number 2 and number 3 ranked professional fighters, Ben “The Beast’ Rowland and Ron “Killing” Fields as they battle to become Premier MMA Championship‘s Heavyweight title holder.
Ron “Killing” Fields,a veteran of over 60 professional fights including competing for Strikeforce at the world famous Playboy mansion will enter the cage looking to extend his current winning streak at Premier MMA Championship after recording wins this year over M-1 Global veteran Josh Thorpe as well as Indiana’s top 10 fighter,Jordan Mitchell. Fields, who is currently the number 3 ranked professional heavyweight in the state of Kentucky has finished four of his last five victories inside the first round and when asked about his upcoming fight against Ben “The Beast” Rowland expects a much longer fight and a “slug-fest” that will see 4 rounds to become the Premier MMA Championship Heavyweight Champion.
Ron Fields had this to say about his upcoming fight:
“I expect a brawl, Rowland and I are very similar in styles and both like to stand and bang. When Ben Rowland and Myself step inside the cage, we will give everyone in the crowd exactly what they came to see and prove that age is just a number, I will leave every ounce of myself inside that cage and I expect this fight to roll over into the championship rounds with me finishing it in the 4th round”
While Fields has the experience edge in his favor, Ben “The Beast” Rowland will step inside the Premier MMA Championship cage on August 19th as an undefeated professional fighter who currently holds multiple regional promotions pro heavyweight titles and expects to add to that collection with a victory of the experienced Ron Fields, “The Beast” who is currently the number 2 ranked heavyweight professional in the state of Kentucky is coming off his latest professional title victory after a win over Tennessee’s Dustin Long in May of this year at the “Border Wars” event capturing his second professional title in the process.
Ben Rowland had this to say about his upcoming title fight against Ron Fields:
“This fight should be a stand up slugfest, a battle between two hard hitting heavyweights that fan’s will regret not seeing if they don’t come to the Radisson to see it live, I’m coming to Covington Kentucky to do what they say I cant do, Covington hasn’t seen a storm like they are about to see on August 19th”
What will happen on Saturday August 19th when two heavy handed strikers meet inside the Premier MMA Championship cage with only one fighter being able to walk away victorious and become a champion? Will experience help Ron Fields become a champion for the first time in his career, or will the undefeated current champion of multiple promotions,Ben Rowland add another belt to his impressive collection?
