Meet Premier MMA Championship’s David Rankin

 

Premier MMA Championship returns to the Iconic Radisson Cincinnati Riverfront in Covington Kentucky on Saturday February 10th, 2018 presenting a night full of live MMA action featuring some of the best up and coming future stars in the sport of MMA, as well as the best unsigned,established veterans in the entire Midwest region.

Some of the athletes who you will see compete live on February 10th took a few moments out of their training to give you, the fans a little background on who they are and give you their thoughts on their upcoming fight at Premier MMA Championship.

Q- How long have you been training?
A-8 years

Q-BJJ/TKD/Wrestling experience/Belt Level?
A-Blue Belt in BJJ

Q-When did you make your MMA debut?
A-2013

Q- What made you start competing in MMA?
A-When I was in High School our school officer owned an MMA gym. Went down and checked it out. The rest is history.

Q- How do you feel like you match up with your opponent on February 10th?
A-Good match up. Tough opponent. Will be an exciting fight. We will both be looking to finish the fight and make it exciting.

Q- How do you predict the fight will end? and in what round?
A-Not much for predicting my own fights. Ready for a quick finish or a 5 round war. Will be prepared for either.

Q- Why should fans come out to see you compete?
A-I always come to fight and try to press the action. 

Q- If there was one thing you can say to your opponent about your fight on February 10th, what would that be?
A-Let’s get that fight of the night award.

Q- What has been the most memorable moment of your MMA career?
A-My first MMA fight. Won late in third round via TKO after probably being down on the scorecards.

Q- What is your favorite MMA moment as a fan?
A-Lawler-MacDonald II

Q- When you’re not at the gym training what is your favorite hobby to keep yourself busy?
A-I enjoy occasionally deer hunting.

Q- Outside of MMA what type of job do you have?
A-I am an Account Manger for CertaPro Painters. Basically I estimate the cost of painting for commercial buildings and service the customer. 

Q- When you’re in the gym training, or just working out what artist or music gets you in a zone?
A-Any form of Rock

A-If you ain’t first you’re last – Ricky Bobby

Q-What is your all time favorite movie?
A-Too many to chose from but Gladiator is up there

A-Mark Wahlberg
