Premier MMA Championship 16 is set to take place on Saturday April 10th in Covington Kentucky featuring some of the regions best up and coming future stars of Mixed Martial Arts. Two of those fighters that are both coming off wins at Premier MMA 15 are Cheyenne Hall and Maya Samuels-Stewart who will now meet each other inside the cage for the chance to become the first Premier MMA Championship Featherweight Champion!
Both Cheyenne Hall and Maya Samuels-Stewart entered their fights at Premier MMA 15 having not competed for nearly 18 months due to the Covid-19 pandemic and both won their fights in dominating fashion, Hall by first round TKO and Samuels-Stewart by unanimous decision earning both women this Championship title fight.
Cheyenne Hall who is a West Virginia native and trains with Ground Zero Fighting System where she is a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu made her MMA debut in 2018 in Pennsylvania and will look to continue her winning streak when she enters the Premier MMA cage on April 10th to compete for her first title.
Standing across the cage from Cheyenne Hall will be Maya Samuels-Stewart who considers her hometown to be South Florida where she earned her Red belt in traditional Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo from South Miami Martial Arts now resides in Virginia and trains with the Kaizen MMA gym in Falls Church Viginia where she is a white belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Maya made her MMA debut at Premier MMA 3 in 2017 and is looking to step inside the cage April 10th to win her first title at Premier MMA Championship 16!
This is a fight expected to be exciting and full of action as both of these women have shown in previous fights the willingness to exchange strikes with their opponent as well being comfortable if the fight goes to the ground.
