Meet Premier MMA Championship 8 Fighter Raleigh Abbott



Premier MMA Championship is set to take place on Saturday June 2nd at the all new Hits Sports & Entertainment Complex in Covington Kentucky presenting a night full of live MMA featuring some of the best up and coming future stars of the sport, as well as the best unsigned and established veterans in the entire Midwest region.

A- 24 years

A-  Two-time Georgia Wrestling State Champion, Greco-Roman All-American, 3-time NAIA All-American
Q-When did you make your MMA debut?
A- 2013
Q- What made you start competing in MMA?
A- Transition from College Wrestling
Q- How do you feel like you match up with your opponent on June 2nd?
A- Faster, stronger,  and better wrestling
Q- How do you predict the fight will end? and in what round?
A- 2nd round TKO
Q- Why should fans come out to see you compete?
A- I always bring intensity into my fights.  It’s never a boring fight
Q- If there was one thing you can say to your opponent about your fight on June 2nd, what would that be?
A- Tony and I are cool. I never take fighting personally.  We will step in the cage,  put on a show,  then shake hands and be friends again.
Q- What has been the most memorable moment of your MMA career?
A- ACS Main event, because my family and friends were there.
Q- What is your favorite MMA moment as a fan?
A- Weidman knocking out Silva while he was showboating.
Q- When you’re not at the gym training what is your favorite hobby to keep yourself busy?
A- Fishing with my boys in the backyard

A- Taylor County Wrestling Coach
