Meet Premier MMA Championship 7 Fighter Paul Schommer

 

 

Premier MMA Championship is set to take place on Saturday April 14th at the all new Hits Sports & Entertainment Complex in Covington Kentucky presenting a night full of live MMA featuring some of the best up and coming future stars of MMA, as well as the best un-signed and established veterans in the entire Midwest region.

Some of the athletes who you will see compete live on April 14th took a few moments out of their training to give you, the fans a little background on who they are and give you their thoughts on their upcoming fight at Premier MMA Championship.

 

Here is what Paul Schommer had to say about his upcoming fight:

Q- Tell the fans your name?

A: Paul “Schomo” Schommer (pronounced Show- Merrr)

 

Q-Age?

A: 27

Q- Record

A: 5-4-0

 

Q- Your Home Town?

A: Dayton, OH

 

Q- What gym do you train with?

A: Vision MMA

Q-Favorite Training Partner?

A: My entire gym.

Q- How long have you been training?

A: Since I was a wee lad. (Since 9-10 years old)

Q-BJJ/TKD/Wrestling experience/Belt Level?

A: Forever a white belt.

Q-When did you make your MMA debut?

A: 2010

Q- What made you start competing in MMA?

A: When I was younger, I was involved in wrestling and martial arts; it’s only makes sense to combine them.

Q- How do you feel like you match up with your opponent on April 14th?

A: It will be an interesting challenge for me & I look forward to it.

Q- How do you predict the fight will end? and in what round?

A: I would rather not predict the outcome of the fight, although I hope it ends in my favor.

Q- Why should fans come out to see you compete?

A: Because of the love, work and passion that comes from this sport is what entertains all of the fans.

Q- If there was one thing you can say to your opponent about your fight on April 14th, what would that be?

A: “Lets give ‘em a show”

Q- What has been the most memorable moment of your MMA career?

A: My most memorable period of time is when I first began to train & realizing the sense of family that develops within the gym alone is what makes everything I do worth it.

Q- What is your favorite MMA moment as a fan?

A: As much as I love MMA as a sport, I do not enjoy watching it.

Q- When you’re not at the gym training what is your favorite hobby to keep yourself busy?

A: Spending time with my family.

Q- Outside of MMA what type of job do you have?

A: IBEW Local 82 Electrician

Q- When you’re in the gym training, or just working out what artist or music gets you in a zone?

A: A variety of genres that varies from day to day.

Q-What is your favorite quote?
