Premier MMA Championship announced today a Professional title fight between Chris Curtis (14-5) and Portland Pringle (10-6) for the promotions upcoming show on Saturday May 27th in Covington Kentucky.

Chris Curtis and Portland Pringle are both riding the wave of momentum heading into May 27th as both fighters are currently on multi-fight winning streaks that’s seen each of these two top prospects earning professional title wins in separate organization’s in their last fight’s.

Curtis, coming off an impressive KO victory over Wilfredo Santiago Jr. of JacksonWink MMA to retain his CES MMA welterweight title and Pringle, the current Odyssey Fights welterweight champion is coming off a first round victory over American Top Team fighter JD DOMENGEAUX to capture that title will now meet for the Premier MMA Championship welterweight title on May 27th, 2017 at the Radisson Cincinnati Riverfront in Covington Kentucky.
Chris Curtis, who recently made headlines with his desire to enter the UFC cage at UFC Fight Night in Nashville TN this past weekend to confront and “call out” current UFC Fighter Mike Perry has made it very clear as to what his current career goals are, and that is to get to the UFC and “Beat the brakes off Mike Perry” but if Portland Pringle has his way, he is coming to derail the momentum Curtis is currently riding and capture the Premier MMA Championship title:

“I’ve spent the last 6 years dedicating myself to become a better fighter, I know going into this fight that my opponent has some attention on him after calling out Mike Perry but those eyes that may be tuning in to watch him will see that this is my time and I plan to walk out of that cage as the Premier MMA Championship Welterweight Champion” – Said Pringle

Curtis, Who has never been one to shy away from words had this to say about the upcoming fight:

“This is what I live for, I don’t work a 9-5, I get up everyday, kiss my family goodbye and I start grinding. I am sure Pringle is going to come in with fire in his eyes and more motivated than he has ever been but every corpse on Mt. Everest was once an extremely motivated person”.
“This sport may be important to him, I get that, It’s probably even his life but for me it goes deeper than that, this is my dream, I will do anything to see my dream realized. I like and even respect Portland, I really do, but he is going to be just another body sacrificed on the alter of my dream”
