Meet Premier MMA Championship’s Wes Reeves

 

Premier MMA Championship returns to the Iconic Radisson Cincinnati Riverfront in Covington Kentucky on Saturday February 10th, 2018 presenting a night full of live MMA action featuring some of the best up and coming future stars in the sport of MMA, as well as the best unsigned,established veterans in the entire Midwest region.

Some of the athletes who you will see compete live on February 10th took a few moments out of their training to give you, the fans a little background on who they are and give you their thoughts on their upcoming fight at Premier MMA Championship.

A- 20

 A- 3-0
Q- HomeTown?
A- West Chester, Ohio
Q- What Gym do you train with?
A- JG MMA
Q-Favorite Training Partner?
 A- Taylor Ruscin
Q- How long have you been training?
A- I’ve been training since I was 5 years old.
Q- BJJ/TKD/Wrestling experience/Belt Level?
A- I’m a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under my father Dave Reeves. I also have a background in wrestling
Q- When did you make your MMA debut?
  A- I made my MMA debut April 2015 against Corey Champion.
Q- What made you start competing in MMA?
 A- I started training MMA to better myself.
Q- How do you feel like you match up with your opponent on February 10th?
A-  I feel confident going into this fight on February 10th. No one works harder than I do, so no matter how hard my opponent trains I’ll always be one step ahead.
Q- How do you predict the fight will end? and in what round?
A- I don’t play into the guessing game.  My technique and cardio will prevail, and that’s all that matters.
Q- Why should fans come out to see you compete?
A- Fans should keep a close eye on me because I bring excitement to the cage.
Q- If there was one thing you can say to your opponent about your fight on February 10th, what would that be?
A-Good luck brother.
 Q- What’s your most memorable moment of your MMA career?
 A- My most memorable moment in my MMA career was putting Neil Mullins to sleep with shoulder pressure.
Q- What is your favorite MMA moment as a fan?
A- My favorite moment as a fan was watching Cody Garbrant dethrone Dominic Cruz. I was sad when he lost to TJ Dillashaw.
Q- When you’re not at the gym training what is your favorite hobby to keep yourself busy?
A- I’m a huge comic book nerd outside of the gym; that’s something most people don’t know about me.
Q- Outside of MMA what type of job do you have?
A- I’m an electrician in the Marine Corp Reserve, and a commercial electrician at Denier Electric Company.
Q- When you’re in the gym training, or just working out what artist or music gets you in a zone?
 A-  Kanye West always finds a way to get me in my zone.
Q- What’s your favorite Movie?
  A- My favorite movie is Rocky 3. It reminds me a lot of my own internal struggles, and motivates me to be better.
Q-What is your all time favorite song?
 A- My favorite song changes a lot. Currently Icon by Jaden Smith is my jam.
