Premier MMA Championship 5 Preview

 

 

On Saturday November 18th Premier MMA Championship will be hosting their fifth live event in 2017 from the Iconic Radisson Cincinnati Riverfront hotel located in Covington KY.

Premier MMA Championship will feature four professional fights headlined by former UFC fighter Carlo Prater as he travels to Covington KY from Brazil to face Cincinnati native Evan Samad.

In the Professional Co-Main event fan’s will see Tennessee’s Brandon McMahan face Cincinnati’s Joe Pegg in what should be an action-packed fight between to electrifying fighters.

The professional undercard will feature Kentucky’s Raleigh Abbott facing Cincinnati’s Marcus Finch and Sean Fallon of Indiana will meet Ohio’s Charles Stanford.

The Premier MMA Championship full under-card host’s a handful of the Ohio Valley’s best up and coming, future stars of MMA including one female fight between Marina Coffman of Ohio and Erin Paige Palmer of Louisville KY. Below is a preview of each fight taking place this Saturday, November 18th in Covington KY.

Carlo Prater vs Evan Samad

 

 

 

 

 

Carlo Prater, a UFC veteran has been fighting professionally since 2003 with notable wins over fighters like Carlos Condit, Melvin Guillard and Erik Silva and more. Prater comes to Premier MMA Championship to face up and coming professional fighter, Evan Samad and hopes to not leave the fight in the hands of the judges as his last six fights have gone to the decision.  

Evan Samad, A Cincinnati native started fighting professionally in 2015 after spending three years preparing as an amateur fighter across the regional circuit will enter what will be the biggest fight of his young career hoping to knock off the seasoned fighter in Carlo Prater. Brandon McMahan vs Joe Pegg

Joe Pegg makes his return to the cage after a 16-month layoff, The Cincinnati Ohio fighter enters this fight with a 6-5 professional record with all fights ending in the first round. Pegg is known for his stand- up ability but has also shown several times that he is capable of winning a fight via a submission as well.

Brandon McMahan a fighter out of Knoxville TN will enter this fight with a 5-4 record and riding a current two fight winning streak is currently the owner of two professional titles, three of McMahan’s five professional wins have come by submission with the other two coming as decisions. Raleigh Abbott vs Marcus Finch

Raleigh Abbott of Kentucky returns to the Premier MMA Championship cage after an impressive 33 second KO victory at Premier MMA Championship 4. Abbott’s heavy hands are always one swing away from finishing any fighter with a big KO and with his wrestling background he will welcome Finch to take this fight to the ground. Marcus Finch who last fought at Premier MMA Championship in February is coming off an impressive victory of his own as he shocked the audience winning by arm bar submission for the first time in his career. Finch, Like Abbott is a heavy-handed fighter who will enjoy a slug fest but will welcome the fight hitting the ground as well.

 

Sean Fallon vs Charles Stanford

Sean Shake’nBake Fallon of Indianapolis Indiana makes his Premier MMA Championship debut after finishing his last two fights by first round submissions, Fallon made his professional debut in 2014 after a 10-4 amateur record where he held multiple promotions titles. Three of Fallon’s five professional victories have come by first round submissions.

Charles “The Trinity” Stanford of Cincinnati Ohio, like his opponent was a multiple promotion title holder as an amateur and has now been fighting professionally since 2013, Stanford has ended five of his six professional victories by TKO.

 

Jake Halsey vs Taylor Andrews

Jake Halsey and Taylor Andrews will both be making their amateur fighting debut at Premier MMA Championship, both fighters come from top notch training facilities with Halsey coming out of the Fluffy BJJ/ Team JG gym in Ohio and Andrews fighting out of the World Famous SSF Submission Academy in Clarksville TN. Marina Coffman vs Erin Paige Palmer

Marina Coffman from Northwood Ohio is a 21-year old amateur fighter who is coming off a first-round submission victory just four months ago, Coffman made her amateur debut at the age of 18 and this will be her fifth MMA fight. You can learn more about Marina Coffman by clicking HERE

Timothy Hughes II vs Jake Leeson

Timothy Hughes II of Sidney Ohio and out of Fightopia MMA and Jake Leeson of Chillicothe Ohio and out of CAMMA will both be making their MMA debut Saturday November 18th at Premier MMA Championship in Covington KY.

 

Kris Cook vs Devonte Maffett

Devonte Maffett of Clarksville TN returns to the Premier MMA Championship cage after winning his debut fight by decision in an exciting fight at Premier MMA Championship in February.

Ilyaz Mamadaliyev vs Matt Moore

Matt Moore of Maysville KY will be entering his seventh MMA fight at just 19 years old, the product of the Iron Fist gym, Moore is an exciting fighter who in his most recent win went to a decision.

Ilyaz Mamadaliyev,also just 19 years old will step inside the cage for his fifth fight since making his debut at 18 years old, he last competed at Premier MMA Championship 4 where he walked out of the cage with a decision victory in a fight of the night performance.

 

Jacob Ray vs Jeremy Artrip

Jacob Ray of Erlanger KY will be fighting for the third time in 2017, He is a fighter who in his last two victories won by submission, at 24 years old Ray made his MMA debut in 2011.

Jeremy Artrip returns to the cage after a one-year hiatus, prior to the year out of the cage Artrip had racked up 4 impressive victories all coming by way of submission.

 

Cameron Taylor vs Ruben Reyes

Cameron Taylor made his MMA debut at Premier MMA Championship in February and has competed on each of the Premier MMA Championship events, His debut fight went to a decision that was arguably the fight of the night, In his last fight at Premier MMA Championship he picked up a victory by submission just 38 seconds into the first round.

Ruben Reyes will be making his MMA debut at Premier MMA Championship on November 18th,  Reyes, a 20 year old from Campbellsville KY trains with the Hurt Locker.
