Q- When did you make your MMA debut?

A- I finally made my MMA debut in July of 2016

Q- What made you start competing in MMA?

A- I was always an aggressive kid. This gave me a way to let out all that pent-up aggression in a safer, more manageable manner.

Q- How do you feel like you match up with your opponent on February 10th?

A-  The only thing Jeff has is a wild overhand. He is no way a technical fighter. He get’s lucky and catches people. I am a way more well-rounded in every aspect

Q- How do you predict the fight will end? and in what round?

A- I’m a finisher, I finish anybody they put in my way. I am going to stop this fool, without a doubt in my mind the ref will have to step in to save the poor fella.

Q- Why should fans come out to see you compete?

A-  I can do it all. I walk the walk, talk the talk, fight the fight, and I look the part. I’m an exciting fighter who brings a crowd with me everywhere I go.

Q- If there was one thing you can say to your opponent about your fight on February 10th, what would that be?

A- Tell your family that you love them

Q- What’s your most memorable moment of your MMA career?

A- The most memorable moment in my MMA career has to be finishing my opponent in 59 seconds back in October of 2016. It was the first time I was able to perform in front of my fellow Xavier Musketeers, and sure as heck won’t be the last.

Q- What is your favorite MMA moment as a fan?

A- My favorite MMA moment(s) has to be watching McGregor silence all the doubters

Q- When you’re not at the gym training what is your favorite hobby to keep yourself busy?

A- I love hanging out with my friends. If I’m not in the gym training, or at school, I’m doing hoodrat things with my hoodrat friends

Q- Outside of MMA what type of job do you have?

A- I am a full time Student at Xavier University. I am graduating this May with a degree in Sports Management and Business.

Q- When you’re in the gym training, or just working out what artist or music gets you in a zone?

A- Please don’t laugh at me too much, but I’m a big country music guy. My teammates HATE when I’m on the AUX cord because I force them to listen to country. I also dabble with rap music as well. When I’m back stage getting ready to fight though, I listen to mainly country to keep me cool and collected.

Q- What is your favorite quote?

A-  Chance the Rapper makes me feel some type of way.

Q- In closing the forum is yours, you have the freedom to say anything you would like:

A- I’m still so young to the game. I truly believe that I have both the resources and mindset to be great at this. I am so early in my career, there are huge things to come. Team Zawahri is ready to take over.
